If you remember my last post about the possible return of Hot Boys, it just might be true. Here is what he told SOHH:
"From as early as time [since] I was initially locked up, I have felt like somehow someway I was going to make this happen and I would be rejoining my brothers again." "As far as the Hot Boys being broken up for a minute, it was nothing more than a family fallout," Turk continued. "Lil' Wayne, B.G. and Juvie are my brothers for real. Everything is back to the way things should be right now and that I look forward to joining the group and being heavily involved in the forthcoming Hot Boys reunion project. Expect this album to go down as a classic in hip-hop history."
I still don't believe it till I see it. Turk is currently serving a 10 year sentence after being convicted of attempted second-degree murder.

The new season of "The Boondocks" will air on October 8 at 11:30 p.m on The Cartoon Network. This season will have guest voices from: Katt Williams, Weezy, Snoop Dogg, & Cee-Lo Green.
If you haven't heard already, at a recent Lil Wayne performance he announced the reunion of the original Cash Money group 'Hot Boys'. The group included Weezy, Turk, B.G., & Juve. I'm not sure if I should believe it because last I heard B.G. was with PSC and Juve STILL hates Wayne. We'll see....but here's the clip of the announcement.

Mary's new single is titled "Here We Go Again" off her album Growing Pains scheduled to release November 20th. I gotta say I'm glad to hear that Mary is coming out with another album. She took a break for a little while but now she's coming back to claim what's hers, the title of "Queen of R&B". I'm sure she was just tired of all this talk about Keyshia Cole replacing her. I Love K. Cole but "The New MJB"....I think not! But I do think it was pure strategy for both of them to release albums, while Beyonce is busy with her tour.

Reports say Mike has been meeting with several record label execs and promoters to discuss the debut of his new album scheduled to release the end of 2008 or 2009. Sources say that he may have songs on the album that feature none other than his brothers & Janet. There is even discussion of Michael & Janet doing an international tour together (Of which I will be on the front row). Here is what one of his associate's had to say:
"This is something Michael is carefully planning. I think the album is going to be amazing. From what I've heard, it will be as big as 'Thriller' -- and yet will take his music in a new direction to appeal to new, younger fans -- but will still have those Michael touches his traditional fans love."
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this man. Regardless of things that might have happened in his personal life, he's still AMAZING and makes AMAZING music. So I support Michael 100%.
Sources Say Jenny is in fact going to be a mother. She supposedly reported to In Touch magazine that she is almost 3 months pregnant. However, hubby Marc Anthony still denies the possible bun in the oven. If she is, I'm happy for her! But if she isn't......HOW EMBARRASSING! One of the worst thing that could ever happen to a female is people believing she's pregnant when she really isn't :(

As if you didn't know. K. West beat 50 by 300K in his first week album sales of close to A MILLION. So naturally what do you expect 50's response to be? The blame game AGAIN! Now he's accusing Def Jam (Kanye's label) of "rigging the charts", because Kanye's albums haven't sold as well as 50's in the past. Curtis really needs a reality check or some kind of lesson on accountability.

Lupe Fiasco should have the cover to himself and everything in between.......questionable. Most of them had pretty successful 1st albums but I have to wait until the 2nd one drops before I can call them 'Leaders of the New School'. Last week, BET announced the nominations for the Hip Hop Awards showed that will air Wednesday, October 17 @ 9 PM. Leading with 9 nominations is ATL rapper T.I. Not too far behind are Lil Wayne with 7 nominations, K. West with 6, Common with 5, and Jay-Z with 4. KRS-One be honored with the "I Am Hip Hop" Icon Award.
We'll see what happens but I hope it involves NO fighting

50 cent blames record label for 2nd Place rank
During the rappers interview with Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez, 50 blames Interscope Records for the results of this weeks album sales. He also claimed that after he releases another album, since it’s his contract obligation, he will be done with the label. Here’s what allhiphop.com reported he said:
"It was the label," 50 Cent said. "They're dropping the ball all over the place. I'll release my next album and then I'm a free agent."
I say…..”Stop Crying and make better music!” The label can only promote, market or advertise the CRAP you put out. So stop making excuses and Get Over Yourself!

Recently, Maxwell put a sample of his single “Pretty Wings” on his Myspace page. His management team states he was taking “a little time off” and he has already recorded most of his album. A possible tour to promote the new album is still being considered. Sounds good but rumors say the real reason the voice behind the song “This Woman’s Work” was gone for so long, was because he was planning on “coming out”, so the label postponed his album and advised him to keep it under wraps since it may cause him to lose his fans. I don’t know what the big deal is…..dude can still sing his a$$ off!. Oh yea, and still Gorgeous!

I won’t confirm any of the rumors because I honestly don’t know if their true, but I will say on several video diaries on her website mention her relationship to Wayne and several of them end in her saying “Weezy”…so I’ll let you be the judge. The girl is still getting paid (a whole lot) to do what she does so I’m not gonna knock her hustle.
According to TMZ.com , On August 19 Remy Ma a.k.a “The Hot Head” was at a club in the Bronx and ran into the boyfriend of one of the possible witnesses from her earlier case. She then proceeded to have her entourage stomp on his face, causing him and his friend to be hospitalized.
Not only will Remy face her previous charges of assault, she now faces charges of gang assault, intimidating a victim, and tampering with a witness. Good Job!

Legendary Rapper Tupac Shakur will be recognized on the 11th anniversary of his death after the VH1 “Hip Hop Honors” event tomorrow. During this memorial ceremony, guests will participate in wine tasting while listening to the spoke word of the late rapper. Some of the proceeds from the event will go to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation. I Truly believe he was one of the best rappers and most influential poet of our time.......
